The ITV presenter was chatting to Alison Hammond about her new book, You’ve Got To Laugh, when they both discussed their meetings with Hollywood actor Harrison Ford.
“I interviewed Harrison Ford years ago and he was so grumpy,” Lorraine stated.
“Oh my God, he was the most miserable person I ever met. You went and charmed him.”
Alison replied: “Everyone said that and I was so nervous, I didn’t even wear my best clothes.
“I rocked up to this interview, we took so whiskey and some glasses from the movie.

“I think the fact Ryan [Gosling] was there just made it such a lovely interview.”
Alison previously admitted she regretted not getting dressed up for her interview with Harrison.
She told Hello!: “I didn’t make much of an effort with my appearance that day and I can’t believe, of all the interviews that I’ve done in 16 years, that’s that the interview that went viral.
“You just never know do you?”
Meanwhile, Lorraine names Harrison her worst celebrity guest as far back as 2008.
She told the Daily Star: “I felt disappointed because I loved Blade Runner and was really looking forward to meeting him.
“It wasn’t so much that he was rude, but he was a bit grumpy.
“I think he was bored and made it very clear that he did not want to be there.”
Lorraine later explained why she thought the interview didn’t go too well.
She said on her self-titled show in 2019: “I don’t think he particularly liked the movie he was promoting, and he just wasn’t really happy.
“I think that’s what it was and he was fed up.”
Lorraine also stated she didn’t enjoy meeting Kevin Spacey.
“He was horrible,” she told Piers Morgan as he appeared on her show.
“Very arrogant. I didn’t like him at all.”
