Flo Rida shocked his fans after abandoning his relationship with his special needs son while allegedly calling him a wicked child.
His baby mama Alexis Adams spoke out regarding his disgraced behavior towards his 4-year-old child, Zohar Paxton.
The rapper allegedly referred to his disabled child as an “evil f’n child” despite still supporting the kid financially.
According to Adams, the Low singer refused to establish a relationship with his son even after the paternity test confirmed a 99.9% DNA match between him and Paxton.
The mother of the child claimed the rapper had only met his son once since he was born.
“Flo Rida has only seen his son once during the paternity test but kept his shades on, and his back turned,” she shared. “They were in the same room. He didn’t try to hug Zohar, nothing. It was very cold.”
His son was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, a neurological condition that permits excess cerebrospinal fluid to flood the brain. The disease can cause nausea, vomiting, distorted vision, and hearing, along with an enlarged head.
Following his diagnosis, Paxton had to go through a necessary surgery. Even then, Flo Rida still did not care to check up on his son.
“Even after Zohar’s surgery, he hasn’t reached out to find out if he’s okay,” Adams claimed. “I find it strange because Flo Rida is always involved in charities pertaining to kids. Being a single mom going to a lot of doctor’s appointments and not knowing what else your son might need is heartbreaking.”
Flo Rida, whose real name is Tramar Lacel Dillard, first met Adams in 2015. He immediately refused to believe in Adams when she revealed that she was pregnant with his child until the paternity test proved the child was, in fact, his.
The Right Round rapper later began paying for child support in 2017. However, he did it at an amount that was “significantly less than the later provisional amount chosen by the judge.”
Adams later scored a victory in court to obtain the increased amount for her son. The rapper told TMZ that he was paying her $5,000 a month before noting that her legal actions were a “cash grab.”
Following his “evil child” comment, Adams discredited his claim saying, “Zohar is very loving, he kisses and hugs everybody. He’s a very happy baby and interactive with people. That’s one thing people notice when they meet him.”
