“I’ve Had My Fill, It’s Enough”: Tom Brady Speaks His Heart Amidst Marriage Crisis
When a 45-year-old quarterback is entering his 23rd season in the NFL, it is evident that there must have been a huge amount of effort behind it. While we celebrate the player for his courage and will, there are many sacrifices made. Not only by the player but also by those surrounding him, and Tom Brady has some light to shed on his journey.
Tom Brady recently appeared on the Podcast: Let’s Go! With Jim Gray. In the episode, Brady talked about a lot of things, including the time he has dedicated to the sport and all the things he has missed in the past two decades.
The player said, “I haven’t had a Christmas in 23 years. I haven’t had a Thanksgiving in 23 years. I haven’t celebrated birthdays with people I care about born from August to late January…and I think there comes a point in life where you say, ‘You know what? I’ve had my fill, it’s enough,’ and be able to move into other parts of life.”
While making it abundantly clear that he does not feel the same as he did when he was 25 years old. He has more commitments now, apart from the ones that he has towards the sport.
Is this Tom Brady’s last season in the NFL?
Tom Brady and his multi-millionaire wife, Gisele Bündchen, have been married since 2009 and share two kids together, Benjamin, 12 years old & 9-year-old Vivian. They stand out as one of the biggest power couples in the NFL and entertainment industry. However, according to a recent report, all is not well between the two.
The reported reason for the fight is said to be Tom Brady’s decision to come out of retirement. After announcing that he would be hanging his boots this season. The quarterback changed his mind, leaving Gisele, reportedly furious with him. The two have always seemed so close. They have supported each other through thick and thin, and it seems unlikely that the two would not reconcile eventually.
With his latest remarks, it now looks like the GOAT of the NFL is finally warming up to the idea of finally stepping aside from the game. When Brady was asked about what he thinks about media speculating this season to be his final. The player admitted, “One of these days, they’re going to be right.”
