The Cobb County Police Department said several people were injured in a shooting at a Walmart.
Police said there is no active shooter and no current threat to the public, but police did not specify if there was a suspect in custody.
The Walmart is at 2795 Chastain Meadows Parkway north of Marietta.
Sources said one person has been detained, one person was injured at the scene and one person went to the hospital with a possible gunshot wound.
Action News has learned that shoppers were evacuated from the store some time after 12 p.m.
An employee at Walmart said employees are hiding in the woods behind the store.

The FBI and law enforcement usually define mass shootings as incidents not gang-related, with three deaths excluding the shooter. This incident resulted in two injuries, one person detained, and no deaths. It does not meet the definition.
Might just be the time to avoid Walmart since the nut cases appear to enjoy making losing there. Either that or go armed.
Always go armed. It is a fundamental Constitutional right, and we should exercise it.
