Social Media Star and Influencer Tucker Genal shared a heartfelt reflection on his past year in his final video post before his tragic death.

The 31-year-old content creator died by suicide at his Los Angeles home on Thursday, Dec. 11, according to records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

Tucker’s brothers, Carson and Connor, confirmed the loss in a joint Instagram post on Monday, Dec. 15. “I don’t even know where to begin. You were my best friend and an even better big brother,” they wrote. “My entire life, I’ve spent looking up to you and trying to follow in your footsteps because you were always my hero.”

Tucker, who had roughly 3 million followers across TikTok and Instagram, was known for sharing glimpses of his life online, often featuring his siblings. The family’s TikTok account, Hustle House, had more than 1.1 million followers.

In his final post on Dec. 10, Tucker shared a montage of photos from every month of 2025, set to a mix of a Ricky Gervais quote — “Well, I think life is precious because you can’t watch it again. But once you realize you’re not going to be around forever, I think that’s what makes life so magical” — and the Grouplove song “Tongue Tied.”

Carson and Connor added in their Instagram tribute, “I will continue to spend the rest of my life looking up to you until we meet again. You were the kindest person I’ve ever met and the greatest brother that anyone could have ever asked for.”

Before his rise to social media fame, Tucker studied business administration and management at Furman University and worked as a social media coordinator for sneaker artist Kickasso.

Following his passing, influencer Sean Schutt, who often appeared alongside Tucker in TikToks, posted a touching tribute. “Tucker, you gave me my motivation. You brought a light in me that I never even knew I had,” Schutt wrote. “You are the kindest, most selfless person I knew. You always put others before yourself and always knew how to care when no one else did. I don’t know where I would have been without you, man. YOU gave me life. YOU showed me how beautiful life can be. I’m so blessed to have had you in my life.”
